A passionate, energetic, and self-motivated entrepreneur with twenty years of experience in business development, Real Estate & Mortgage Development. He is fluent in English & Spanish and understands Portuguese. He has worked for several Fortune 500 companies in telecom, software sales, and technology industries in his 20-year career. As a Sr. Regional Development Manager, he managed all of the company’s distribution channels and sales efforts, always exceeding sales objectives and QUOTAS.
Education
He has a BS in Telecommunications Management and earned his MBA degree from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis on finance and international business. He has started and operated multiple small businesses, including a coffee shop and a telecommunications construction company in Central America.
Mr. Sahagun has started and operated multiple small businesses from a coffee shop in the early 1990’s to a telecommunications construction company in Central America which reached sales revenue of $50 million per year and became one of the largest construction companies in the area. Mr. Sahagun has traveled to over 30 countries worldwide, consulting and negotiating business deals from South America to Central Congo in Africa.
In 2014, Armando began teaching WEV’s business training courses (in Spanish) and has inspired and helped our clients in improving the management of their small businesses. Mr. Sahagun is an active member of SCORE (Ventura Chapter) and teaches entrepreneurship classes at National University for WEV (Women’s Economic Ventures (www.wevonline.org). He is also part of other nonprofit organizations helping local small businesses in the area. He coaches individuals on building wealth through business ownership.
Outside his business interests, Mr. Sahagun enjoys traveling, reading motivational and business books. He is also a mentor with SCORE a nonprofit organization helping local businesses with planning and strategy implementation.
